The upcoming third season of acclaimed anthology series The White Lotus will reportedly be set in Thailand.
The drama - created by Mike White - is set in a different outlet of the fictional "White Lotus" hotel chain each season, alongside a new cast of characters each time.
Season one was based in Hawaii, with the most recent season in Italy, and White has previously suggested that the third season would relocate to Asia, possibly Japan.
According to Variety, the destination has now been settled upon as Thailand, known for its beautiful beaches, Buddhist temples and hedonistic nightlife.
Discussing season three recently, White said: 'The first season kind of highlighted money, and then the second season is sex.
"I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus."
Casting details have yet to be confirmed for the new season, which is likely to be filmed later this year for broadcast in early 2024.
