Love Island alum Wes Nelson reportedly joins the lineup of new ITV series The Games.

Former Love Island star Wes Nelson has reportedly joined the lineup for ITV's new competition series The Games.

The show - to be hosted by Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff - will see 12 celebrities competing in a series of Olympic-style events such as diving and sprinting.

Mark Wright was said to have signed up for the show but pulled out after the first day of filming last week for unknown reasons.

According to The Sun, rapper and model Nelson, 23, is now confirmed to be part of the lineup and has already passed his fitness assessment.

"Wes signed up for the show a couple of weeks before Mark pulled out and is a great addition," a source told the newspaper.

"He was reluctant as he wants to be taken seriously as an artist but in the end he knows it's good exposure for his music.

"Wes is also super fit so will be a great contender and is likely to do very well in the show."

The Games will air on ITV later this year.
