Harry Styles, Taylor Swift battling for albums top spot

Taylor Swift's Evermore and Harry Styles's Fine Line are in the running for this week's UK number one album.

Taylor Swift and Harry Styles are engaged in a battle for this week's number one UK album, according to figures from the Official Charts Company.

Evermore - Swift's second surprise new album of 2020 - previously topped the charts in December but is back in pole position this week based on the first 72 hours of sales.

Meanwhile Styles's Fine Line, released in December 2019, is tracking at two following the release of new single 'Treat People With Kindness'.

Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia is at three, Little Mix's Confetti is at four and the greatest-selling album of all time - Queen's Greatest Hits - is up to fifth place, which would be its highest chart placing in 39 years if it stays put.

Over on the singles chart, a five-way tussle for the top spot was being led by Little Mix with 'Sweet Melody' over the weekend.
