Roberto Martinez: 'Arsenal game will be our biggest challenge this season'

Roberto Martinez insists that Everton's away fixture at Arsenal could be the biggest challenge they will face this season.

Roberto Martinez has insisted that Everton's game with Arsenal on Saturday will be the 'biggest challenge' his side will face this season.

The Gunners beat Bayern Munich 2-0 in their midweek Champions League game, which gives the North London side a glimmer of hope of progressing from the group stages.

The Everton boss feels that the result was deserved and is expecting Saturday's fixture to be their toughest test this term.

"We are facing an Arsenal team that I watched against Bayern and I don't think it's a coincidence that they won," Martinez told The Telegraph.

"They were very worthy of the win. They are a very complete team at the moment and I think this will be as big a challenge as we will face all season."

Everton have not won away at Arsenal since January 1996.
