Arsenal striker Robin van Persie will reportedly join up with his fellow teammates for pre-season training in Germany, despite being left out of the Gunners' tour of Asia.

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is reportedly expected to return to the Gunners side for pre-season training in Germany next week.

The Dutchman was left out of the North London side's squad for preparations in Asia, which sparked speculation that the 28-year-old was poised to leave the Emirates.

Despite the initial snub, it appears that the prolific frontman will train with his fellow teammates as part of the club's six-day trip to Germany, according to The Mirror.

The inclusion of Van Persie may suggest that a desire to leave Arsenal, which has reportedly attracted Manchester United, Juventus and Manchester City, may have to be put on hold until the January transfer window.
