Sunday's Premier League predictions including Southampton vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Southampton vs. Arsenal.

Aston Villa vs. Brentford (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Aston Villa will begin life after Steven Gerrard with a Premier League clash against Brentford on Sunday afternoon, with first-team coach Aaron Danks set to lead the home side this weekend.

Gerrard was relieved of his duties following Thursday's 3-0 defeat at Fulham, while Brentford will enter this match off the back of a goalless draw with Chelsea on Wednesday night.

We say: Aston Villa 1-1 Brentford

Brentford have drawn three of their five away Premier League matches this season, while Villa have won just twice in front of their own fans in the league this term. There should be a reaction from the hosts following Gerrard's departure, but Brentford are strong enough to claim a point here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Leeds vs. Fulham (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Leeds United's search for their first Premier League win since August 21 will continue on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Fulham to Elland Road.

The home team, who are 16th in the table, will enter this match off the back of a 2-0 defeat at Leicester City on Thursday, while ninth-placed Fulham recorded a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa on the same night.

We say: Leeds United 1-1 Fulham

Leeds are in desperate need of a win, but Fulham will fancy their chances of picking up a result here. It would certainly not be a surprise to see a home or indeed an away victory, but we just have a feeling that a close match will end with the points being shared.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Southampton vs. Arsenal (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Aiming to avoid another miserable trip to St Mary's and record a ninth win on the bounce in all tournaments, Arsenal make the journey to Southampton for Sunday's Premier League match.

Both sides prevailed by 1-0 scorelines in midweek, with the Saints overcoming Bournemouth on the South Coast while the Gunners got the better of PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League.

We say: Southampton 0-2 Arsenal

Discontent is still alive at St Mary's even after their win over Bournemouth, who have been no pushovers in Gary O'Neil's tenure, and the absence a recognised right-back will have Gabriel Martinelli licking his lips.

The soft underbelly of Arsenal that has been exposed on the South Coast on the past is no longer visible, and we are backing Arteta's side to end their one-goal streak courtesy of a two-goal success to remain out of sight at the top.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Wolves vs. Leicester (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Two underperforming Premier League sides meet at Molineux on Sunday, when Wolverhampton Wanderers host Leicester City.

Wolves announced that Steve Davis will stay on as manager until 2023, following the sacking of Bruno Lage, as Queens Park Rangers boss Michael Beale turned down their approach in midweek.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-1 Leicester City

There have been just five goals scored in the last six head-to-head's between these sides, and there is not much to suggest a flurry of goals is on the way here either.

Wolves are having huge difficulties scoring goals, but Leicester have shown improvement this week, and welcoming back Maddison could be the decisive factor.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Spurs vs. Newcastle (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Tottenham Hotspur will aim to consign their midweek endeavours to history when they return to North London to face Newcastle United in Sunday's Premier League clash.

The Lilywhites were put to the sword 2-0 by Manchester United on Wednesday, while Eddie Howe's men ran out 1-0 winners over Everton.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Newcastle United

Newcastle have been dealt a bitter blow with Joelinton's injury, but the Magpies' confidence levels are far higher than Tottenham's after their midweek fixtures, and the Lilywhites will certainly be in trouble if Kulusevski cannot play any part in Sunday's game.

However, Conte's side have always put on a performance in front of their own fans this term, whereas Newcastle have not developed that winning habit away from home. While this is sure to be a tightly-fought encounter that could very well end level, we have faith in Conte's side to just about get the job done.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
