Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is reportedly holding out for a move to Arsenal amid speculation linking Emiliano Martinez with an exit from the Emirates Stadium.

Brentford goalkeeper David Raya supposedly has his heart set on a move to Arsenal amid speculation regarding his future.

The Spaniard played every minute of Championship football last term and kept 16 clean sheets from 46 games in the regular season, but the Bees ultimately lost to Fulham in the playoff final.

Raya has previously admitted that he is desperate to play in the Premier League, and according to The Athletic, Arsenal could make the goalkeeper's dream become a reality.

The Gunners may have to prepare for life without Emiliano Martinez, who put in a string of impressive performances for the FA Cup winners during Bernd Leno's time on the sidelines.

Martinez is understood to be after regular first-team football having spent several years as a backup at the Emirates Stadium, and the Argentine will supposedly seek a move elsewhere if he continues to play second fiddle to Leno at Arsenal.

Raya has just under three years left to run on his current deal with Brentford.
