Shamrock Rovers's emerging talent Najemedine Razi has reportedly been attracting attention from major clubs across Europe, including the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Razi made his debut for Rovers as a substitute in their FAI Cup defeat against Dundalk in July and came on as a substitute in both European matches against Ferencvaros.

The 17-year-old made a notable impact for the Republic of Ireland at the Under-17s European Championships in Hungary over the summer and received the FAI Under-17s Player of the Year award.

As reported by the Irish Mirror, scouts from Madrid were impressed by the teenager's performances in that tournament and have identified him as a player of interest.

However, the report adds that they are not the only ones, as both Arsenal and Chelsea are also believed to be keen on signing the Rovers prospect.

Owing to Brexit regulations, Razi, who inked a professional contract with The Hoops at the age of 16, is not allowed to join an English club until January 2025.

Nevertheless, the teenager is allowed to explore opportunities elsewhere in Europe, and both Real Madrid and cross-town rivals Atletico Madrid are understood to have expressed admiration for his talent.

Following four consecutive victories, the midfielder is expected to be part of the squad in matches against Cork today and Sligo Rovers on Friday.
