Danny Welbeck: Joining Arsenal a "massive positive" for England

Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck believes that playing alongside other England internationals at his new club will benefit the national side.

Danny Welbeck has said that his move to Arsenal will be a "massive positive" for England's Euro 2016 campaign.

Welbeck completed his move to the Gunners on transfer deadline day, joining England midfielders Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott at the Emirates.

The 23-year-old told the club's website: "It is going to be a massive positive for us.

"We will be seeing each other every single day and you obviously develop a much better understanding if you are working with one another on a consistent basis, that is something that will definitely benefit the England team."

Welbeck scored 29 goals in 142 appearances for United.
