Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet sets his sights on a La Liga and Champions League double for La Blaugrana ahead of the Spanish top flight's return.

Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet is optimisitic about his side's chances of achieving La Liga and Champions League glory ahead of the Spanish top flight's resumption.

La Liga will return to action after a three-month hiatus later this week, and Barcelona currently sit two points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table.

La Blaugrana will also prepare to welcome Napoli to Camp Nou for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash when European football returns, with the two sides having played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

Lenglet, who has turned out 29 times for Barca in all competitions this season, has confirmed that the Catalan giants are desperate to lift the Champions League trophy for the first time since 2015.

"In the league, even though we have a two-point advantage, it's a new championship," Lenglet told Mundo Deportivo.

"And the Champions League, if it's played in one-off games, we are 15 matches from achieving a double. We would like [to win] it so much. It's something we have wanted for so long.

"It has been five years since we won the last Champions League and we want to keep working to achieve it.

"I think we're in good shape. It's a peculiar season, but we are going to work as hard as possible to lift those trophies."

Quique Setien's side will take on relegation-threatened Mallorca in their first La Liga game back on Saturday.
