Barcelona's Lionel Messi reveals plans for Newell's Old Boys return

Barcelona star Lionel Messi reiterates plans to end his career at boyhood club Newell's Old Boys.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi has reiterated that he would never consider playing for another team in Europe.

The Argentina international vowed to remain at Barca before eventually ending his career with a short stint at his boyhood club Newell's Old Boys.

"Every time I'm more clear that in Europe, Barcelona will be my only place. In Argentina, I would like to play six months or some games in Newell's," Mundo Deportivo quotes Messi as saying.

"When I was little I had a dream to play in the Colossus. I was left with the thorn of playing on Newell's court."

Messi has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City in recent seasons but has spent his entire senior career at Barca.
