Ibrahim Afellay to join Olympiacos?

A report claims that Barcelona midfielder Ibrahim Afellay is closing on a move to Olympiacos.

Ibrahim Afellay has reportedly travelled to Greece to complete a move to Olympiacos.

The Netherlands international has been with Barcelona since 2010, but injuries have restricted him to just seven appearances in the last two seasons.

It has been suggested that the 28-year-old would be given the chance to shine for Barca this season, but a move to Greece now appears to be close to completion.

According to Mundo Deportivo, personal terms have been agreed, while a transfer figure for the attacking midfielder is not believed to be an issue.

An announcement is expected this weekend.
