Barcelona have allegedly made an official offer for Hull City attacker Jaden Philogene.
The 22-year-old was in impressive form for his Championship club during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring 12 goals and registering six assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.
A recent report claimed that Barcelona had registered their interest in the Englishman, and according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, an official offer has now been submitted by the La Liga giants.
Plettenberg claims that Hansi Flick's side have 'analysed him in detail', and the bid is to take him on loan for the 2024-25 campaign, with an obligation to buy next summer for between €20m (£16.9m) and €23m (£19.5m), providing that certain conditions are met, including playing time.
Barcelona are allegedly prepared to hand Philogene a contract until June 2026, with one of the surprise deals of the summer potentially going through in the near future.

Who is Jaden Philogene?
Philogene, who was born in London, represented Aston Villa between 2018 and 2023, progressing to first-team level in 2021, but he only made six appearances before joining Hull last summer.
During his time at Villa, it was alleged that the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund were interested in his signature, but Hull were able to sign him last year.
Philogene has a contract with the Tigers until the summer of 2026, with the option of a further 12 months, but is it is now highly unlikely that he will remain with the club for next season.
The versatile forward, who is capable of playing on both the left and the right, netted 12 times and registered six assists in 32 Championship appearances last season.
Philogene is expected to be involved with Barcelona's first team should he join the club, rather than initially featuring for Barcelona B, which had allegedly been in the Catalan outfit's thoughts.

Barcelona 'still keen on Williams'
The club's move for Philogene is not thought to be related to Nico Williams's future, with the Athletic Bilbao forward still a target for the Catalan team.
Williams recently welcomed interest from major clubs but said that a final decision on his future would not be made until after this summer's European Championship.
The 21-year-old was in excellent form for Athletic during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring eight goals and registering 19 assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.
Raphinha is expected to leave Barcelona this summer, but Spanish attacker Ferran Torres has ruled out a departure during the summer market.
There has also been speculation surrounding Robert Lewandowski's future, but the Poland international is highly likely to remain at Camp Nou for at least one more season.
