Report: Carlo Ancelotti wants Carlos Bacca at Bayern Munich

A report in Germany claims that new Bayern Munich head coach Carlo Ancelotti will look to sign Carlos Bacca if Robert Lewandowski leaves the club in the summer.

Incoming Bayern Munich head coach Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly instructed the club's hierarchy to sign Carlos Bacca in the event that Robert Lewandowski leaves the Allianz Arena.

Speculation yesterday claimed that Poland international Lewandowski was open to starting new contract talks with Bayern, although links with Real Madrid still persist.

According to Bild, should the frontman opt to move to the Spanish capital, AC Milan's Bacca is Ancelotti's preferred choice to fill the void.

Bacca, 29, has scored 15 goals for Milan in all competitions since his arrival from Sevilla last summer.
