Brentford bring in midfielder Konstantin Kerschbaumer

Brentford complete the signing of "box-to-box" Austrian midfielder Konstantin Kerschbaumer on a four-year contract.

Brentford signed their fourth player of the summer this morning by adding Konstantin Kerschbaumer from FC Admira Wacker Modling for an undisclosed fee.

Kerschbaumer, who turned 23 today, has signed a four-year contract with the West London-based Championship outfit.

"He is a box-to-box midfield player who I think will add versatility to our squad," Bees head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen told the club website.

The Austrian only joined Admira in January from SKN St. Polten, going on to make 16 Austrian top-flight appearances for his last club.
