Brentford sign Everton's Chris Long on loan

Brentford sign Everton youngster Chris Long on loan for a month.

Brentford have signed Everton striker Chris Long on an initial one-month loan.

The 19-year-old, who had a loan spell at MK Dons last season, made his first-team debut for the Toffees in the Europa League last month.

"We have tracked Chris's progress from a young age," Brentford manager Mark Warburton told the club's official website.

"We are aware of his talent and we are looking forward to seeing how he impacts the team's performance. Chris is a young boy with enormous potential and who will add value to the group over the coming weeks."

Long's loan stint at Griffin Park will expire on February 21.
