Liam Bridcutt targets future in Premier League

Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Liam Bridcutt reveals that he feels ready to ply his trade in the Premier League.

Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Liam Bridcutt has admitted that he would find it difficult to turn down a move to the Premier League.

Bridcutt has established a reputation as one of the most highly-rated players in the Championship, but while the Scotland international insists that he wants to test himself in the top flight, he has reiterated his commitment to his current club.

The 24-year-old told BBC Sussex: "I've always said that I want to be a Premier League player. It would be even better if I can do it with Brighton, but if there is an opportunity for me to do it with another club, I think that it is going to be hard for me to turn it down.

"I am a Brighton player and as long as I am contracted to Brighton, I will give 110%. If you are doing well, you will always get interest from other clubs. It is part and parcel of football."

Bridcutt has made 145 appearances for Albion since joining the club from Chelsea in 2010.
