Celtic defender Efe Ambrose believes that the club can reach the quarter-finals of this season's Champions League.

Celtic defender Efe Ambrose has suggested that the club can reach the quarter-finals of this season's Champions League.

The Hoops, who made it to the last 16 during the previous campaign, take on Cliftonville in the second qualifying round on Tuesday.

"We set the target last year and we want to do better this year," Ambrose told reporters.

"We can do even more than what we did last year if we put our mind to it and be determined to work harder."

Celtic became the first British side to win the tournament when they lifted the trophy back in 1967.
