Demba Ba has vowed to stay at Chelsea and fight for a place in the team.
The striker, who moved to Stamford Bridge earlier this year, is expected to face competition from Romelu Lukaku, while Manchester United's Wayne Rooney continues to be linked with a move to the club.
"I will stay. I think we need competition and we welcome the best players in this club," the Senegal international said, according to Sky Sports News.
"More competition is going to make me better anyway. All players want to play, not only centre forwards.
"We will all work in the same direction, for the club, to try and win the games."
Ba was among the goalscorers during Chelsea's 8-1 win over the Indonesia All-Stars yesterday.
