Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly considering leaving Romelu Lukaku out of his squad for Sunday's key Premier League contest with fellow title hopefuls Liverpool.
The Belgium international has scored seven times in 18 appearances for the Blues since returning to the club in a £97.5m deal during the recent summer transfer window.
Lukaku has netted in each of his last two Premier League appearances but said in a recent interview that he was not happy with his situation at Stamford Bridge and was keen on a return to Inter Milan.
Tuchel admitted that he 'did not like' the 28-year-old's comments, with the German claiming that it has brought 'unhelpful noise' during a key period of the campaign.
According to The Telegraph, Lukaku could be dropped from the squad for the match against Liverpool as punishment for his interview.
The report, though, has claimed that the striker is not looking to force a move away from Chelsea despite appearing to suggest that he wants to return to San Siro as soon as possible.
Lukaku penned a five-year deal with Chelsea upon his arrival from Inter last summer.
