Inter Milan join rivals AC Milan in the race for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to a report.

Inter Milan have reportedly joined the race for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Fabregas, who joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer of 2014, made 49 appearances in all competitions for the Blues during the 2017-18 campaign.

The central midfielder has missed all four of Chelsea's Premier League matches this season with a minor knee problem, however, and his future under new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be unclear.

AC Milan were linked with a move for the Spaniard earlier this month, but according to The Express, Inter are also now in the hunt, with Fabregas's contract due to expire at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has made over 180 appearances for Chelsea since his arrival from Barcelona.
