Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Martin Braithwaite to Everton, Max Aarons to Southampton and Oscar to MLS.

Everton are reportedly one of three Premier League clubs interested in signing experienced forward Martin Braithwaite from Espanyol during the summer transfer window.

The 33-year-old was in impressive form for Espanyol during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring 22 goals and registering three assists in 45 appearances, helping his side to secure a return to La Liga through the Segunda Division playoffs.

Braithwaite has another year left to run on his contract, but according to AS, there is a release clause of just €600,000 (£508,000) in his deal, which has attracted the attention of teams from the Premier League.

The report claims that Everton are keen on his signature, while Leicester City and Southampton are also keeping a close eye on the forward, who has scored 10 times in 69 appearances for Denmark.

Braithwaite has previously played in England for Middlesbrough, scoring nine times in 40 appearances for the club between 2017 and 2019, and he represented Barcelona ahead of his switch to Espanyol.

Southampton 'launch' £6m offer for Aarons

Meanwhile, according to the Daily Mail, Southampton have placed a £6m offer on the table for Max Aarons, with the Saints preparing for a return to the Premier League.

Aarons made the move to Bournemouth from Norwich City last summer, and he represented the Cherries on 23 occasions during the 2023-24 campaign.

The 24-year-old could potentially again be on the move in the current window, though, with Southampton believed to have made a £6m offer for his services.

Southampton boss Russell Martin was at Norwich when Aarons was a youngster at Carrow Road, and the two could now reunite at St Mary's during the summer window.

Aarons has made 90 Premier League appearances during his professional career, and he could now have the chance to represent a third club in England's top flight.

Oscar 'could' move to MLS this summer

Elsewhere, ex-Chelsea attacker Oscar could allegedly make the move to the MLS this summer.

The Brazilian famously represented Chelsea between 2012 and 2017, making 203 appearances for the London club, before surprisingly moving to the Chinese Super League.

Oscar has played 220 times for Shanghai Port, but the 32-year-old's contract is due to expire at the end of November, and he is allegedly considering a change at this stage of his career.

According to The Athletic, a number of MLS clubs have registered an interest in the attacker after being made aware of his availability later this year.

Barcelona were linked with Oscar last year, while teams from Brazil are said to be monitoring his situation.

The attacker has been in impressive form for his Chinese outfit this season, scoring eight goals and registering 14 assists in 16 appearances in all competitions.
