Fulham will reportedly place a bid of £4.5m in an effort to sign Anderlecht defender Kara Mbodji.
The Senegal international, who missed the World Cup due to a knee injury, won the Belgian top flight title with his current employers in 2017.
However, according to The Sun, Mbodji is now on the fringes of the squad and has been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck.
The newspaper adds that Mbodji's lack of playing time has halved his value, and Fulham are prepared to swoop in with an offer that could allow the 28-year-old to realise a dream of playing in the Premier League.
Mbodji would be Fulham's seventh acquisition of the summer, with Alfie Mawson their most recent capture.
