Hearts boss John McGlynn has quelled suggestions that the club are on the verge of signing Rudi Skacel.
Skacel, 33, departed the Scottish club in the summer, but alerted supporters on his Twitter account when he stated that his season would begin this week.
"I don't follow Twitter and Facebook. Obviously Rudi has been saying certain things but I can't really comment on that. It's at a higher level than where I am. If it's not Rudi Skacel, I wonder who I'm getting!" he told Sky Sports News.
Skacel scored 18 goals for Hearts last season.
