Liverpool reportedly decide that they will not entertain the sale of Divock Origi during the January transfer window.

Liverpool have reportedly decided to reject any offers for Divock Origi during the January transfer window.

Origi spent the last campaign on loan at Wolfsburg, and although the Belgian was kept at Anfield for the first half of the campaign, the versatile attacker has barely featured in the first team.

Liverpool had been expected to entertain bids for the 23-year-old at the midway point of the season, with Wolverhampton Wanderers being heavily linked with an approach.

However, according to the Liverpool Echo, manager Jurgen Klopp intends to keep Origi in his first-team squad after the sale of Dominic Solanke to Bournemouth.

Origi will remain as second fiddle to the likes of Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, but the frontman is now regarded as an option off the bench with two goals and an assist coming from 173 minutes of football this season.
