Liverpool are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Schalke 04 centre-back Ozan Kabak during this summer's transfer window.
The Reds are expected to be in the market for a new central defender ahead of the 2020-21 campaign as Dejan Lovren is likely to seek pastures new in the upcoming market.
According to the Daily Mail, Jurgen Klopp's side have 'asked about' Kabak, who could be allowed to leave for £40m this summer due to Schalke's financial problems.
Manchester City, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest in the Turkey international over the last few months.
Kabak featured on 28 occasions for his German club during the 2019-20 campaign, including 26 outings in the Bundesliga, where he contributed three goals and one assist.
Liverpool rounded off their Premier League title-winning campaign with a 3-1 success at Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
