Remi Garde is confident that Lyon can overhaul Paris Saint-Germain's two-point lead at the top of table and win Ligue 1.

Lyon coach Remi Garde has insisted that his side can win the Ligue 1 title this season.

The former French champions are currently two points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain in second place following a 1-1 away draw with Brest on Sunday.

"The league season won't stop next week," he told reporters. "This was a real opening for us and the players did all in their power to take it.

"If we keep showing the same spirit then we'll keep worrying people and we'll have the possibility of fulfilling our objective of a podium finish."

Lyon last won the league in 2008.
