Manchester City keeping tabs on Julian Nagelsmann as Pep Guardiola replacement?

Manchester City are reportedly eyeing RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann as a possible replacement for Pep Guardiola, whose future remains uncertain.

RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly under consideration to become Manchester City's next manager should Pep Guardiola depart.

Guardiola's future has been a constant topic of conversation as the Catalan coach is into the final season of his existing contract.

The former Barcelona boss recently ruled out a return to Camp Nou but is in no rush to agree fresh terms.

City have possible candidates lined up if Guardiola quits at the end of his fifth campaign at the club, with Nagelsmann one of those in the frame.

According to Sport Bild, however, the Citizens will have to pay Leipzig a €10m (£8.95m) compensation fee if they wish to land the German.

Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in Nagelsmann, who became the youngest manager in history to coach a Champions League semi-final last season.
