Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo insists that his side will not alter their playing style for the visit of free-scoring champions Manchester City.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has insisted that his side will not alter their playing style for Saturday's visit of champions Manchester City.

City will arrive at Molineux having quickly retained their place at the top of the Premier League table after two games of the new season, thanks largely to a thumping 6-1 win over Huddersfield Town last weekend.

Early signs suggest that City will once again be the team to beat this season following their record-breaking charge to the title last season, but Nuno has refused to adapt his side's philosophy despite coming into the match off the back of a 2-0 defeat to 10-man Leicester City last time out.

"We don't know how to play another way. There are two ways to react to Leicester, we react by changing or not. We will not change because we want to build something," he told reporters.

"It's important we keep doing the same thing we train to do, as we want to achieve. Adapt, of course, because you are facing a good team, but don't change. When you build something you have to truly believe in what you're doing.

"I think every player in the squad of Manchester City has a lot of quality and talent. It's not only about one. It's everyone we have to be worried about but they have to be worried about us."

Wolves are still searching for their first Premier League win since promotion, having picked up one point from their opening two games of the campaign.
