Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has insisted that he has no regrets about rejecting Manchester City this summer.
The Argentina international has revealed that Roberto Mancini wanted him at the Etihad Stadium before he made the £24m move to Paris.
The 27-year-old said that he joined the French side due to the city he would be living in, claiming that Paris is a much better place to live than Manchester.
"When two clubs are as ambitious as one another, that is what will make the difference - the city where you live," he said.
"This is the reason that made me choose Paris. For life outside football, I think that Manchester has nothing in common with Paris. I am already settled in here, in a house in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
"For me, personally, to have signed in Paris is a beautiful challenge. It's a short-term project - win major trophies, including the UEFA champions League."
Lavezzi made 188 appearances for Napoli, scoring 48 goals in his time at the club.
