Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly hopeful that his side will be able to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar during this summer's transfer window.
The Slovakia international was strongly linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium ahead of the 2019-20 campaign but ultimately remained at San Siro.
According to Calciomercato, Inter could sell Skriniar this summer if Lautaro Martinez remains at the club, and Guardiola is refusing to give up hope of bringing the centre-back to England.
The report, though, claims that Inter have already rejected a €65m (£58.2m) offer from the English champions and are looking for a fee in the region of €80m (£71.6m).
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have also recently been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, who still has more than three years left to run on his contract with Antonio Conte's side.
Skriniar has made 32 appearances for I Nerazzurri during the current season.
