Valencia are reportedly demanding that any clubs interested in Ferran Torres meet their valuation of £73m.
With just a year remaining on the winger's contract and Valencia having missed out on Europe, it has been suggested that Manchester City may be able to sign the Spaniard for a cut-price fee.
However, according to The Telegraph, club officials at the Mestalla have little intention of budging with regards to their valuation.
Although the 20-year-old has a release clause of £91m, it appears that Valencia are bidding to try to recoup £73m for one of their star men.
Valencia are potentially reacting to City having already allowed Leroy Sane to sign for Bayern Munich in a £54m deal.
Torres contributed six goals and seven assists during La Liga and the Champions League during the most recent campaign.
