How Arsenal could line up against Manchester United

Ahead of Wednesday's Premier League clash between Manchester United and Arsenal, Sports Mole looks at how Unai Emery's side could line up at Old Trafford.

Arsenal make the trip to face Manchester United at Old Trafford having not suffered defeat in their last 12 matches in the Premier League.

The Gunners' run of form has left the club in fourth place in the standings, and just one point adrift of third-placed Chelsea.

Manager Unai Emery has also been boosted by his team's 4-2 comeback victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Spaniard has a number of selection dilemmas ahead of Wednesday's match, and here Sports Mole looks at how his team could line up in the North-West.

Out: Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin), Nacho Monreal (thigh), Danny Welbeck (ankle), Laurent Koscielny (lack of match fitness), Granit Xhaka (suspension)
Doubtful: Mesut Ozil (back)

Emery will have to make do without Granit Xhaka at Old Trafford after the Switzerland international picked up a fifth yellow card of the season at the weekend.

Matteo Guendouzi is likely to replace Xhaka in the middle of the pitch, while Aaron Ramsey has put himself in contention to replace either Alex Iwobi or Henrikh Mkhitaryan further forward.

Alexandre Lacazette has also returned to full fitness after a minor injury, and the Frenchman could potentially be handed a return to the starting lineup.

The defence and wing-backs are likely to remain the same, with Nacho Monreal still unavailable due to a thigh injury and Laurent Koscielny short of match fitness.
