Luke Shaw is to sit out Manchester United's trips to Watford and Young Boys as a result of the head injury sustained on international duty, a report claims.

Manchester United will reportedly be without left-back Luke Shaw for their next two matches because of the concussion suffered on England duty.

The 23-year-old was voted the Red Devils' Player of the Month for August after impressing during a rare run of games under boss Jose Mourinho.

Shaw's form earned him a first call-up to the England fold in 18 months, but his comeback against Spain lasted a little over 45 minutes as he was stretchered off the field following a sickening clash with Dani Carvajal.

According to The Mirror, United will not risk the defender when they travel to Watford on Saturday, and he is also expected to sit out the Champions League meeting with Young Boys in a week's time.

Shaw has vowed to 'fight back' from his latest injury layoff, having previously missed 11 months with a broken leg.
