Manchester United youngster James Wilson has admitted that he is keen to force his way into the senior squad.
The striker has been in positive form for the club's Under-21 side this season, which culminated in him scoring a second-half hat-trick against Wolverhampton Wanderers last night.
Having seen Adnan Januzaj make the jump from youth to Premier League football this season, Wilson has expressed his desire to follow in the Belgian's footsteps.
"I just want to get as many minutes on the pitch as possible and keep my confidence up, hopefully pushing up to the first-team squad. I need to hope for the best," he told MUTV. "I can definitely relate a lot to Adnan and the stage he was at last year. I hope I can kick on."
Wilson signed United in July 2012.
