Jesse Lingard will reportedly attempt to leave Manchester United during this summer's transfer window unless he is given assurances over playing time at Old Trafford this season.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham United, scoring nine times and registering five assists in 16 appearances for the Hammers.
Lingard is back with Man United this summer and is in contention to feature against Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday, having recovered from coronavirus.
West Ham continue to be linked with the England international, though, amid suggestions that he is available for a fee in the region of £25m.
According to The Times, Lingard will look to move on before the end of the transfer window unless he is promised regular football under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this term.
The versatile attacker, who scored in Man United's behind-closed-doors friendly against Burnley at Old Trafford on Tuesday, has less than a year left to run on his current deal with the 20-time English champions.
