Manchester United have announced the signing of Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding the Turkey international's future in recent weeks, with Man United seemingly identifying him as their number one choice to arrive as back-up to Andre Onana.
Dean Henderson's move to Crystal Palace was confirmed on Thursday, while Tom Heaton is currently on the sidelines through injury, strengthening Man United's need to sign a new stopper.
Bayindir is believed to have been in England over the last week waiting to complete a move to Erik ten Hag's side, and a transfer has now been confirmed, with the stopper arriving on a contract until June 2027, while there is the option of a further year.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Fenerbahce will receive a fee of between €6m (£5.1m) and €7m (£5.9m) for the 25-year-old, who has already made four appearances at club level during the 2023-24 campaign.

The Turkey international featured in his team's opening three Europa Conference League qualification matches, in addition to lining up on the opening weekend of the new Super Lig campaign.
However, Bayindir has been absent from the last few Fenerbahce games, fuelling suggestions that he was on the verge of completing a move away from the club.
The goalkeeper has been with the Yellow Canaries since 2019, representing them on 145 occasions in all competitions, keeping 44 clean sheets in the process.
Bayindir has featured in the Europa League and Europa Conference League during his professional career, in addition to playing twice in qualification matches for the Champions League.
"It is a huge honour to join Manchester United and become the first Turkish player to represent this incredible club," Bayindir told the club's official website. "I have a passion for success, and I will give everything to help this special group of players to achieve our ambitions.

"I cannot wait to start working with such an experienced goalkeeping unit. We will support each other and drive high standards every day so that each of us is ready to perform whenever called upon."
Onana will remain Man United's first-choice goalkeeper following his high-profile switch from Inter Milan.
However, Bayindir is now expected to move above Heaton to become the number two at Old Trafford, and he will hope to be given chances to impress in the cup competitions.
Onana could also potentially be absent in January if he is selected in the Cameroon squad for the Africa Cup of Nations, which would open the door for Bayindir to enjoy a run of matches.
Man United will be busy on transfer deadline day, with the club also close to announcing a loan deal for Tottenham Hotspur's Sergio Reguilon, while they are bidding to sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
