Manchester United are reportedly prepared to make an offer of £175m to try to sign Mohamed Salah from rivals Liverpool.

Manchester United have reportedly identified Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah as a possible transfer target for the summer.

Salah only secured a move to Liverpool last summer, but the Egyptian international has enjoyed a stunning first campaign at Anfield, with 37 goals being scored in 42 appearances in all competitions.

Liverpool have allegedly already decided that they will consider no bids for the 25-year-old ahead of next season, but according to Don Balon, that may not deter United.

The report claims that United are willing to offer £175m for Salah and are said to be of the opinion that the size of the approach may be enough to tempt Liverpool into a sale.

Real Madrid have also been linked with the former Chelsea man, who cost the Merseyside giants an initial £34m when completing a transfer from Roma.

Salah still has over four years remaining on his existing contract.
