Palermo: 'Paulo Dybala not joining Arsenal, Manchester United'

Palermo chief Maurizio Zamparini says that Paulo Dybala's short-term future is with the Rosanero, amid speculation linking him to Arsenal and Manchester United.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has told Arsenal and Manchester United to forget about signing young striker Paulo Dybala this month.

The Argentine youngster has reportedly courted interest from both Premier League giants after emerging as one of Europe's hottest properties this season.

The 21-year-old has netted nine times in 17 Serie A appearances for the Italians so far, and Zamparini expects him to commit his short-term future to the club in the form of a three-year extension soon.

"He will renew his deal and sign a three-year deal, and if he continues to play that well in the next six months then a big club from abroad will sign him," Zamparini told Parlamento.

"Where will he go? Abroad. In order I would say England, France, Germany and Spain, because the two big clubs in Spain [Real and Barca] already have a lot of forwards."

Rated at around £30m, Dybala's existing contract expires in 18 months.
