Report: Manchester United in Alvaro Morata race

A report claims that Manchester United want to sign Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata.

Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata.

The Spanish Under-21 international is widely regarded as one of the brightest talents in European football, but has struggled for first-team football with Los Blancos this season.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have both been strongly linked with his services, but according to Marca, Premier League champions United are also interested in the powerful striker.

Morata, whose current deal expires in 2015, has scored three times in the league for Madrid this season.
