Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to break their transfer record in order to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to spend £60m on Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

Mauricio Pochettino has signed just one player - Lucas Moura - in the last three transfer windows, but the Argentine is ready to make a number of additions during the summer.

The North London outfit are allegedly keen to strengthen in the middle of the pitch, partly due to having already sold Mousa Dembele at the start of 2019.

According to The Sun, Spurs have set their sights on bringing in Ndombele, who has established himself as one of European football's most sought-after players.

The 22-year-old has recently refused to rule out an exit from Lyon, aware that the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United have previously been keen on his services.

However, the report suggests that Spurs are currently regarded as the most likely destination for the Frenchman.
