Manchester United are reportedly prepared to spend £134m on Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.

The 23-year-old, has made over 200 appearances for Atletico in all competitions and further enhanced his growing reputation with goals against England and Croatia for Spain during the recent international break.

Saul is a key player under Atletico boss Diego Simeone, and the midfielder has a contract at the Wanda Metropolitano until the summer of 2026, which includes a release clause of £134m.

However, according to OK Diario, United are prepared to pay the buy-out figure in order to open contract talks with the midfielder, but the same report claims that Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are also in the hunt.

United have also been linked with a move for Saul's club teammate Lucas Hernandez, who has a £72m release clause in his contract with the Madrid giants.

The Red Devils will look to make it back-to-back Premier League wins when they travel to Watford on Saturday night.
