Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has admitted that he wants to stay beyond the end of his current contract with the club.
The Dutchman won the Premier League title in his first season at Old Trafford having joined from Arsenal last summer.
The 30-year-old still has three years left on his deal at United, but is eager to remain with the champions for longer.
"I have three more years to go and I would like to stay longer," Van Persie told MUTV.
"I want to play as long as possible at the highest level. Winning trophies is what it is all about."
Van Persie scored a penalty during his side's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
