Ashley Young has reportedly moved a step closer to joining Inter Milan, with the Manchester United captain agreeing a contract with the Italian giants.
Speculation linking the Englishman with a switch to San Siro has gathered pace in recent days, and the 34-year-old was not involved in United's Premier League clash with Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Young has now agreed a deal with Inter until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
Should the Serie A outfit be unable to settle on a fee with United then the full-back would arrive on a free transfer at the end of the current season.
However, it is thought that Antonio Conte's side are keen to agree a deal with the 20-time English champions to ensure that he will arrive before the end of the month.
Young has made 261 appearances for the Red Devils since arriving from Watford in 2011.
