Barnsley manager David Flitcroft has hailed his side's resolve to come from behind to beat Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.
The Tykes took the lead early through Jim O'Brien but fell behind after half time.
However, Scott Golbourne got his side level and Jason Scotland completed the comeback with a 76th-minute winner.
He told the club's official website: "We've seen incredible commitment to the cause for over 90 minutes. I asked the players to use their initiative and to adapt to whatever was thrown at them.
"I was proud today as I have been from day one. That was a magnanimous effort from a group of players who don't like defeat. To get the third [goal] caps the day, they deserve that."
The win moves Barnsley level on points with Wolves in the Championship table.
