Mike Ashley is reportedly willing to sell Newcastle United if he receives a bid of £250m.
WWE owner Vince McMahon has been linked with a big-money takeover of the Magpies.
The Sunday People reports that while a £250m offer would tempt him into passing on the St James' Park reins, Ashley is not actively looking to sell and is planning for the future.
The same source claims that, despite a run of four consecutive defeats without scoring, Alan Pardew's job as manager is safe but Ashley will shake things up with a revamp of his backroom staff.
Joe Kinnear left his position as director of football last month and could be followed out of the door by several others, but former managing director Derek Llambias is not expected to return to Tyneside.
