Loic Remy refuses to pledge his future to Newcastle United

Loic Remy refuses to commit his future to Newcastle United beyond his loan deal from Queens Park Rangers.

Loic Remy has refused to pledge his future to Newcastle United, as his Queens Park Rangers release clause increases.

The Magpies will now have to pay a minimum of £10m to sign the French striker permanently.

The player himself is concerned only with playing regularly for Newcastle, and not where his future lies when his loan deal ends.

"I will look at whatever offers come in," Remy is quoted in The Mirror. "Whether they be from Newcastle of whether they be from QPR.

"The most important thing at the moment is playing well at Newcastle, then hopefully trying to get a more regular position in the French squad. And the afterwards, I am still a QPR player. I am just here on loan."

Remy has already scored five goals this season and is likely to be part of the Newcastle side that takes on Sunderland this afternoon.
