Jose Mourinho expects results to improve

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says that "the good moment will arrive" as he looks to halt his side's dismal start to the season.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that Roman Abramovich and the club's board retain trust in him despite his side's poor start to the season.

With the Blues losing seven of their first 12 games in the Premier League, Mourinho has been linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge, but technical director Michael Emenalo has suggested that his position at the club remains safe.

Ahead of Saturday's fixture with Norwich City, Mourinho acknowledged that he feels he has the full support of the club's hierarchy, while also insisting that the "good moment will arrive" sooner rather than later.

The 52-year-old told reporters: "Obviously the power is in the hands of the owner and the board, I think they show the players and me they trust us and it's time for us to give a positive answer. I think we are doing this but not in the results.

"I believe the good moment will arrive. I think in a couple of weeks Falcao is back from injury, Courtois is back in December too so we really believe good things are waiting for us."

Chelsea could fall to the brink of the relegation zone should they suffer defeat to the Canaries at Stamford Bridge.
