Championship side Norwich City will reportedly turn to the loan market to sign Graham Dorrans from West Bromwich Albion after their deadline-day move for the Scottish midfielder fell through.
Dorrans, 27, was at Norwich's training ground on Monday as the two clubs closed in on a deal that would see Martin Olsson go the other way.
However, the move didn't materialise as West Brom and Olsson failed to agree terms. Norwich could now go for Dorrans when the loan window opens this Monday.
"He's not lined up at the moment but it's a potential thing we could look at when the window opens. It's something we will revisit," Norwich boss Alex Neil told BBC Radio Norfolk.
Dorrans has played in 21 of West Brom's 23 Premier League games this season, but hasn't started since New Year's Day and last month's appointment of Tony Pulis as Baggies manager.
