Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony blasts Nottingham Forest after they call off a move for George Boyd.

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has launched a verbal attack on fellow Championship club Nottingham Forest over their treatment of George Boyd.

It looked as though the Peterborough attacker was set for a move to the City Ground when he arrived for a medical earlier today.

However, MacAnthony has taken to Twitter to reveal that the deal is off because the Forest owners have changed their mind.

"What is with NFFC messing around with my club.1st my manager, now after putting Boyd through a medical since 10am this morning, their owner has cxxx the deal at last minute when their manager wants him. Farcical & ridiculous," he wrote.

"Apparently after playing 300 games in 6 and half years, his vision isn't 20/20 so no deal. Total disgrace the whole thing."

Boyd has also been linked with Crystal Palace.
